Universal connection cable for wide applications

Five standards – one cable

A key feature of this product is its compliance with as many as five standards: DIN VDE 0285-525-2-31, DIN EN 50525-2-31, UL-Std.1063, UL-Style 10269 (and also Style 1015) and CSA-TEW and CSA-AWM I A/B. Such a wide range of approvals allows it to be used in different countries and applications without the need to have many different types of cables. This simplifies the procurement process and reduces storage costs. Additionally, it has HAR, UL-AWM, UL-MTW, CSA-AWM and CSA-Equipment-wire approvals.

Construction and user parameters

The cable is made of multi-strand copper wire (class 5 according to DIN VDE 0295/IEC 60228/UL Std. 758) insulated with special PVC type TI3 (according to DIN VDE 0207-363-3/DIN EN 50363-3 and class 43 according to UL-Std. 1581). Its outer diameter is 2.8 mm with a cross-section of 1 mm²/AWG18. The cable is characterized by flexibility in the temperature range from +5°C to +90°C (stationary from -40°C to +90°C, and in UL/CSA standards even up to +105°C). The operating voltage is 300/500V (H05V2-K), and the test voltage is 2000V (with 6 kV for cross-sections ≥ 0.75 mm²). The minimum bending radius depends on the cable diameter and is from 4xØ to 6xØ of the cable. The color scheme is dark blue-orange. The materials used in production are free of silicone, cadmium and substances hindering painting. The cable also has an approval regarding flame propagation resistance (DIN VDE 0482-332-1-2 / DIN EN 60332-1-2 / IEC 60332-1-2 / UL VW-1 / CSA FT1).
