Single-core PVC wire acc. to UL/CSA FIVENORM H05V2-K 1/AWG18 green 11019380
Universal connection cable for a wide range of applications
This single-core PVC cable, manufactured in accordance with numerous standards (DIN VDE, DIN EN, UL, CSA), is a versatile solution for both professional installers and end-users. Designed for export applications and operation in demanding conditions, it is perfect for machine tools and internal wiring of distribution boards and electrical equipment. Its construction and approvals simplify the parts list and reduce storage costs.
Construction and properties
The cable is characterized by a multi-strand copper conductor class 5 (DIN VDE 0295/IEC 60228/UL Std. 758), which ensures flexibility and reliability of connections. The insulation is made of special PVC type TI3 (DIN VDE 0207-363-3/DIN EN 50363-3 and UL-Std. 1581, CSA-C 22.2 No. 210 Tab. 12 Class H) guarantees safe use and resistance to external factors. The cable is available in a wide range of colors, both solid and bi-color, making it easier to identify the cores. The materials used in production are free of silicone, cadmium and substances that hinder painting.
Applications and compliance with standards
This cable meets the stringent requirements of many standards: DIN VDE 0285-525-2-31/DIN EN 50525-2-31/UL-Std.1063/UL-Style 10269 (Style 1015) and CSA-TEW and CSA-AWM I A/B. It has HAR, UL-AWM, UL-MTW, CSA-AWM and CSA-Equipment-wire approvals. Thanks to this, it can be used in a variety of applications, from wiring machines and industrial equipment to electrical installations in buildings. The operating temperature range is wide – from -40°C to +90°C (depending on operating conditions and standard). The operating voltage is up to 500V (H05V2-K up to 1mm²) or higher values for other standards (UL AWM up to 1000V AC / 1250V DC). The cable has passed flame propagation tests in accordance with DIN VDE 0482-332-1-2/ DIN EN 60332-1- 2/IEC 60332-1-2/ UL VW-1 and CSA FT1 standards. The minimum bending radius depends on the cable diameter – for cables with a diameter of up to 8 mm it is 4xØ cable, and for larger diameters accordingly 5xØ or 6xØ cable.
