Meets many standards
The cable is distinguished by its compliance with as many as five standards: DIN VDE 0285-525-2-31, DIN EN 50525-2-31, UL-Std.1063, UL-Style 10269 (and 1015) and CSA-TEW and CSA-AWM I A/B. This guarantees its quality and safety of use. Thanks to this, one type of cable can meet the requirements of different projects and standards, simplifying logistics and reducing storage costs. HAR, UL-AWM, UL-MTW, CSA-AWM and CSA-Equipment-wire approvals further confirm its versatility.
Construction and parameters
The cable is made of multi-strand copper conductor class 5 (DIN VDE 0295/IEC 60228/UL Std. 758) insulated with special PVC type TI3 (DIN VDE 0207-363-3/DIN EN 50363-3 and UL-Std. 1581). Its outer diameter is 2.8 mm with a cross-section of 1 mm² (AWG 18). It is characterized by a working voltage of 300/500V (up to 1 mm²) and temperature resistance in the range of +5°C to +90°C (flexible and stationary), and in the case of UL and CSA approvals even up to +105°C. The test voltage is from 2 kV to 6 kV depending on the cross-section. The minimum bending radius depends on the cable diameter - for cables with a diameter below 8 mm it is 4x the cable diameter, above 8 mm - 5x or 6x the cable diameter, respectively. The cable is available in orange-dark blue color. The materials used in production are free of silicone, cadmium and substances hindering painting. Additionally, it has approval for flame propagation resistance according to DIN VDE 0482-332-1-2/ DIN EN 60332-1- 2/IEC 60332-1-2/ UL VW-1 and CSA FT1 standards.
