Meets many norms and standards
A key feature of this cable is its compliance with no less than five standards: DIN VDE 0285-525-2-31, DIN EN 50525-2-31, UL-Std.1063, UL-Style 10269 (and also Style 1015) and CSA-TEW and CSA-AWM I A/B. This means it meets stringent quality and safety requirements, both in Europe and North America. This makes it ideal for export and projects requiring international certificates. Additional approvals HAR, UL-AWM, UL-MTW, CSA-AWM and CSA-Equipment-wire allow for simplified warehouse management and reduced costs associated with maintaining multiple types of cables.
Construction and operating parameters
The cable has a multi-strand copper conductor class 5 (DIN VDE 0295/IEC 60228/UL Std. 758) insulated with special PVC type TI3 (DIN VDE 0207-363-3/DIN EN 50363-3 and UL-Std. 1581, CSA-C 22.2 No. 210 Tab. 12 Class H). It is designed to operate at temperatures from +5°C to +90°C (flexible) and from -40°C to +90°C (stationary), and in the case of UL (AWM) approvals even up to +105°C and CSA (TEW) also up to +105°C. The operating voltage is 300/500V (up to 1 mm²), and the test voltage is 2000V (depending on the cross-section - for 0.5 mm² it is 5 kV, and for ≥ 0.75 mm² it is 6 kV). The minimum bending radius depends on the cable diameter - for cables with a diameter of less than or equal to 8 mm it is 4x cable diameter, for cables with a diameter of 8 to 12 mm - 5x cable diameter, and for cables over 12 mm - 6x cable diameter. The conductor cross-section is 1 mm², which corresponds to AWG/kcmil 18. The outer diameter of the cable is approximately 2.8 mm and its weight is approximately 0.016 kg per meter length.
