The cable stands out for its compliance with as many as five standards: DIN VDE 0285-525-2-31, DIN EN 50525-2-31, UL-Std.1063/UL-Style 10269 (and 1015) as well as CSA-TEW and CSA-AWM I A/B. This means that it meets stringent quality and safety requirements, as confirmed by HAR, UL-AWM, UL-MTW, CSA-AWM and CSA-Equipment-wire approvals. Thanks to this, one type of cable can be used in various applications, simplifying logistics and reducing storage costs. It is particularly recommended for use in machine tools and for wiring distribution boards and electrical devices.
Construction and user parameters
The cable is made of multi-strand copper wire class 5 (DIN VDE 0295/IEC 60228/UL Std. 758), which ensures its flexibility and resistance to bending. The PVC insulation of type TI3 (DIN VDE 0207-363-3/DIN EN 50363-3 and UL-Std. 1581) guarantees good electrical insulation and resistance to external factors. The white-dark blue color makes it easier to identify the wires in the installation. The cable is designed to operate at temperatures from +5°C to +90°C (flexible) and from –40°C to +90°C (stationary), and in the case of UL approvals (AWM) even up to +105°C and UL (MTW) up to +90°C and CSA (TEW) up to +105°C. The operating voltage is 300/500V (up to 1 mm²) and the test voltage reaches 2000V (depending on the cross-section). The minimum bending radius is adapted to the cable diameter, which facilitates installation even in tight spaces. The materials used in production are free of silicone, cadmium and substances hindering painting. The cable has an approval for flame propagation resistance according to DIN VDE 0482-332-1-2/ DIN EN 60332-1- 2/IEC 60332-1-2/ UL VW-1 and CSA FT1.
