The cable is characterized by a multi-strand copper conductor, class 5, providing flexibility and good conductivity. The insulation is made of special TI3 PVC, resistant to abrasion and external factors. This ensures that the cable retains its properties over a wide temperature range – from -40°C to +90°C (depending on the method of installation and standard). The operating voltage is 300/500 V (up to 1 mm²) and 450/750 V (≥ 1.5 mm²), and it also meets UL (AWM) and CSA (TEW) requirements regarding voltage. The minimum bending radius ensures easy installation even in tight spaces. Additionally, the materials used in production are free of silicone, cadmium, and substances that hinder painting.

Applications and approvals

The FIVENORM H05V2-K cable is primarily used indoors – in distribution boards, machine tools, and other electrical equipment. Its versatility is confirmed by numerous approvals: DIN VDE 0285-525-2-31/DIN EN 50525-2-31/UL-Std.1063/UL-Style 10269 (Style 1015), CSA-TEW and CSA-AWM I A/B. The cable meets the requirements of the CE standard (LVD 2014/35/EU), which guarantees its safety. Flame propagation resistance is confirmed by tests in accordance with DIN VDE 0482-332-1-2/ DIN EN 60332-1- 2/IEC 60332-1-2/ UL VW-1 and CSA FT1.
