### Universal cable for many applications

This single-core PVC cable, designated as H05V2-K 1/AWG18, is a versatile solution for internal wiring. It is suitable for electrical installations, connections inside devices, and machine tools. Its construction and approvals make it an ideal choice for professionals and demanding users.

Meets stringent standards – five in one

The cable complies with as many as five standards: DIN VDE 0285-525-2-31, DIN EN 50525-2-31, UL-Std.1063, UL-Style 10269 (and Style 1015), and CSA-TEW and CSA-AWM I A/B. Such a wide range of approvals facilitates export and simplifies inventory management – one cable can meet the requirements of many markets. It also has HAR, UL-AWM, UL-MTW, CSA-AWM and CSA-Equipment-wire approvals.

Flexibility and temperature range

The cable remains flexible over a wide temperature range – from +5°C to +90°C for stationary operation and from -40°C to +90°C for mobile applications. In the case of UL (AWM) approvals, the temperature range reaches up to +105°C, and for CSA (TEW) up to +105°C. This guarantees reliability in various operating conditions. The test voltage is 2000V, and for cross-sections ≥ 0.75 mm² even 6kV. The minimum bending radius depends on the cable diameter and ranges from 4xØ to 6xØ of the cable.

Construction and materials

The core is made of un-tinned, multi-strand copper class 5 (DIN VDE 0295/IEC 60228/UL Std. 758). The PVC insulation type TI3 (DIN VDE 0207-363-3/DIN EN 50363-3 and UL-Std. 1581 class 43) provides good electrical insulation and mechanical resistance. The materials used in production are free of silicone, cadmium and substances hindering painting. The cable has a yellow PVC coating in RAL 1021 color and an outer diameter of 2.8 mm. The weight of one meter of cable is only 0.0161 kg.
