Universal connection cable for a wide range of applications

This single-core PVC cable, manufactured in accordance with numerous standards (DIN VDE, DIN EN, UL, CSA), is a versatile solution for both professional installers and end-users. Its construction and approvals make it ideal for use inside buildings, in distribution boards, machine tools and other electrical equipment. This cable is particularly valued for its economical storage and simplified parts list thanks to its numerous certifications.

Construction and operational properties

The cable is characterized by a multi-strand copper conductor, class 5, providing flexibility and ease of installation. The insulation is made of special TI3 type PVC, resistant to abrasion and mechanical damage. This ensures that the cable retains its properties over a wide temperature range – from -40°C to +90°C (depending on the method of laying and standard). It should be noted that for UL (AWM) the permissible operating temperature reaches up to +105°C.

The cable has been tested for flame propagation (DIN VDE 0482-332-1-2/ DIN EN 60332-1- 2/IEC 60332-1-2/ UL VW-1, CSA FT1), which increases safety. The test voltage for cables with a cross-section of up to 0.75 mm² is 5 kV, and above – 6 kV. The minimum bending radius depends on the cable diameter and ensures an aesthetic appearance of the installation and minimizes the risk of insulation damage.

Available in a wide range of colors (solid and bi-color), making it easier to identify conductors in the installation. Cross-sections above 35 mm² are made of heat-resistant PVC type TI3 under the designation H07V-K. The product is compliant with LVD 2014/35/EU (CE marking).
