Flexibility and compliance with standards
The multi-wire strand class 5 provides flexibility during installation and connection, making work easier in tight spaces. PVC insulation guarantees good resistance to abrasion and mechanical damage. The cable meets the requirements of five standards: DIN VDE 0285-525-2-31, DIN EN 50525-2-31, UL-Std.1063, UL-Style 10269 (and Style 1015) and CSA-TEW and CSA-AWM I A/B. Such a wide range of approvals confirms its high quality and safety of use – particularly important for export and in industrial applications, e.g. in machine tools. Additional HAR, UL-AWM, UL-MTW, CSA-AWM, CSA-Equipment-wire approvals allow for simplifying the bill of materials and reducing storage costs.
Technical parameters and scope of applications
The cable has a conductor cross-section of 4 mm² (equivalent to 12 AWG) and is designed to operate at a rated voltage of 450/750 V. The outer diameter of the cable is approximately 4.3 mm. This makes it suitable for carrying current in installations with different loads. The operating temperature is in the range of -40°C to +90°C, allowing it to be used in harsh environmental conditions. Flexibility class 5 means high flexibility of the core, which facilitates laying cables even in tight spaces. CPR Eca standard indicates the limited flammability of the materials used to manufacture the cable – an important aspect for installation safety. The minimum bending radius is 4x the outer diameter of the cable, which prevents damage during installation.
