Flexible cable for universal applications

This 1kV single-core flexible cable, with a cross-section of 10 mm² (AWG8), is a robust solution for a wide range of applications. Designed for medium mechanical stress, it is perfect for situations requiring flexibility and resistance to bending. Yellow-green insulation ensures easy identification as a protective conductor.

Construction and properties

The cable features a stranded copper core, providing good flexibility and resistance to repeated bending. PVC insulation class 43, resistant to temperatures up to 90°C, guarantees safety and long-term operation. An outer PVC TM2 jacket provides additional protection against mechanical damage and environmental factors. This makes the cable suitable for use in both dry and humid environments, as well as outdoors – provided it is permanently laid. However, it is not suitable for direct burial in the ground or laying underwater.

Applications and benefits

The cable is used in mechanical engineering, on production lines, conveyors, and in production lines. It is ideal where flexible connections and resistance to mechanical loads are required. It meets the requirements of the Low Voltage Directive 2014/35/EU (CE marking), confirming its compliance with European safety standards. In addition, the materials used in production are free of silicone, cadmium and substances that interfere with painting. The cable is also resistant to UV radiation and many chemicals – detailed information can be found in the "Technical Information" table (available separately). This allows it to be used in demanding environmental conditions. Metered cable facilitates precise length adjustment to installation needs.
