Flexible cable for universal applications

This single-core 1kV flexible cable, with a cross-section of 10 mm² (AWG8), is a reliable solution for connections requiring high flexibility. The cable is designed to operate in various conditions, both indoors and outdoors (with fixed installation). It is suitable for mechanical engineering, production lines, conveyors and other applications where resistance to bending and mechanical stress is essential. Made of unannealed copper with PVC insulation, it ensures safe and long-lasting operation.

Construction and properties

The cable features a solid construction – a class 5 stranded copper conductor provides flexibility and resistance to material fatigue. PVC insulation class 43 (90°C) guarantees high thermal and electrical resistance. The outer jacket made of special PVC TM2 further protects the cable from external factors. The cable is resistant to UV radiation and many chemical compounds, increasing its durability and range of applications. It is also self-extinguishing and complies with safety standards (UL VW-1, IEC 60332-1-2).

Technical parameters and operating range

The cable has a rated voltage of 600/1000 V and an allowable operating temperature from -40°C to +90°C (stationary) and from -5°C to +90°C (flexible). Its outer diameter is approximately 9.5 mm. The minimum bending radius for fixed installation is 4x the cable diameter, and for flexible operation – 7.5x the cable diameter. This makes the cable easy to adapt to different installations and spaces. It should be noted that the cable is not intended for laying in the ground or underwater.
