Highly flexible cable for industrial and other applications

This single-core flexible cable with a cross-section of 120 mm² (AWG 4/0) is designed for use in installations with a voltage of 0.6/1 kV. It is characterized by high flexibility and durability, making it an ideal solution in places where the cable is exposed to frequent bending and movement. Yellow-green insulation ensures easy identification as a protective conductor.

Construction and properties

The cable consists of a stranded copper conductor, providing good conductivity and flexibility. PVC (polyvinyl chloride) insulation guarantees resistance to mechanical damage and atmospheric factors. The cable construction allows operation in a wide temperature range – from -40°C to +90°C for fixed installation and from -5°C to +90°C during flexible operation. Additionally, the cable is resistant to UV radiation and many chemicals, increasing its durability and reliability. It meets the requirements of UL VW-1 and IEC 60332-1-2 standards in terms of fire resistance.

Application and installation

The cable is used in mechanical engineering, conveyor belts, production lines and everywhere where a flexible electrical connection without tensile stress is required. It can be used in dry, damp and wet rooms, as well as outdoors (with fixed installation). Please note that the cable is not intended for laying in the ground or underwater. The minimum bending radius is 7.5 x cable diameter for flexible operation and 4 x cable diameter for fixed installation. The outer diameter of the cable is approximately 23.1 mm.
