Flexible single-core cable 1kV – reliability and versatility of applications

This black, single-core 1kV cable with a cross-section of 120 mm² (AWG 4/0) is a solid solution for connections requiring flexibility and resistance to mechanical loads. Made of unannealed copper with PVC insulation, it ensures safe and long-lasting operation in various conditions. This cable is particularly recommended for use in machinery industry, conveyor belts and production lines.

Construction and properties ensuring durability

The cable is characterized by a construction providing high flexibility – stranded wire class 5 according to DIN VDE 0295. Insulation made of special PVC class 43 (90°C according to UL-Std. 1581) and outer jacket TM2 guarantee resistance to mechanical damage, moisture and chemical factors. In addition, the materials used in production are silicone-free, cadmium-free and do not interfere with painting. The cable is UV-resistant and meets the requirements of self-extinguishing and flame-retardant tests (DIN VDE 0482-332-1-2, DIN EN 60332-1-2, IEC 60332-1-2, UL-VW 1, CSA FT1).

Technical parameters and scope of applications

The cable is designed to operate in a wide temperature range – from -40°C to +90°C (fixed installation) and from -5°C to +90°C (flexible). Its rated voltage U0/U is 600/1000 V (VDE) and 600 V (UL/CSA), and the test voltage is 4000 V. The minimum bending radius is 7.5 x cable diameter for flexible laying and 4 x cable diameter for fixed laying. Metered cable makes it easy to adjust the length to specific installation needs. Please note that the cable is not intended for laying in the ground or under water. Its outer diameter is approximately 23.1 mm.
