Construction and properties
The cable features a construction based on a stranded copper core, which provides good flexibility and resistance to bending. The core is insulated with special PVC with high thermal resistance (90°C), and the whole is surrounded by a durable outer PVC coating, providing protection against mechanical and atmospheric factors. The cable has a cross-section of 240 mm², which corresponds to 500 MCM and allows for the transmission of significant currents. The outer diameter of the cable is approximately 32.4 mm.
This cable has been tested and meets safety standards, including the Low Voltage Directive 2014/35/EU (CE marking). It is resistant to UV radiation and many chemicals, which increases its durability and reliability in harsh operating conditions. Additionally, the materials used in production do not contain silicone, cadmium or substances that interfere with painting.
Applications and benefits
SINGLE 600-O 1x240 cable is ideal for use in mechanical engineering, conveyor belts, production lines and anywhere where flexible electrical connections without tensile stress are required. It will work in dry, damp and wet rooms as well as outdoors (with permanent installation). However, it is not suitable for direct laying in the ground or under water.
