Single core PVC wire according to UL/CSA UL Style 1007 1xAWG18 black 62301

This wire, characterized by a single core and PVC insulation, is approved by UL Style 1007 and CSA-AWM. This guarantees quality and compliance with stringent safety standards. Designed for internal wiring, it is suitable for control cabinets, electrical appliances – from household appliances to radio and television receivers. It is ideal as a connecting wire in machines, especially when laid in insulated (also flexible) conduits, as well as a connection wire for motors and transformers. Its construction allows for safe use in a wide range of temperatures – from -30°C to +80°C for stationary operation and from -5°C to +80°C for flexible operation.

Constructional features and properties

The wire is made of copper, and its PVC insulation provides good resistance to external factors. The materials used in production are free from silicone, cadmium and substances that interfere with painting. The PVC insulation is self-extinguishing and flame-retardant (tested by UL VW-1 and CSA FT1 methods), which increases safety of use. The wire has a rated voltage of 300V and a test voltage of 2000V (and for AWG 26-20 even 4kV, and for AWG 10-18 – 5kV). The rated core cross-section is 0.82 mm², and its approximate outer diameter is 2.3 mm.

Additionally, the wire is characterized by a minimum bending radius of 5x the cable diameter for single bending and 10x the cable diameter for multiple bending. It is resistant to oils, solvents, acids, alkalis and lye – making it a universal solution in various industrial and domestic environments. It meets UL and CSA standards, confirming its high quality and safety of use.
