Single core PVC wire according to UL/CSA UL Style 1007 1xAWG20 black 62201
Electrical wire for wide applications
This single-core wire with PVC insulation, approved by UL Style 1007 and CSA-AWM, is a versatile solution for internal wiring. It is suitable for control cabinets, household appliances, and audio-video equipment. Its flexibility and resistance to external factors make it an ideal choice for installers and end-users looking for a reliable conductor.
Construction and properties
The wire features a tinned copper core, ensuring good electrical conductivity. The PVC insulation, manufactured according to UL-Std. 1581, guarantees resistance to heat, moisture, oils, solvents, acids, and bases. The materials used in production are silicone-free, cadmium-free, and do not contain substances that interfere with painting. Additionally, the PVC is self-extinguishing and flame-retardant (UL VW-1, CSA FT1), increasing the safety level of the installation. The wire maintains flexibility in the temperature range of -5°C to +80°C (stationary from -30°C to +80°C), and in the CSA-AWM I A/B or TR 64 version even up to +90°C.
Applications and compliance with standards
The wire is intended for internal wiring of electrical and control devices, machines, and as a connecting wire in insulated pipes. It works perfectly as a connection wire for motors and transformers. It meets the requirements of UL (Underwriters Laboratories Inc., USA) and CSA (Canadian Standards Association, Canada) standards. The rated voltage is 300 V, and the test voltage is 2000 V (breakdown voltage AWG 26-20 = 4 kV; AWG 10-18 = 5 kV). The minimum bending radius is 5x the cable diameter for single bending and 10x the cable diameter for multiple bending. The core cross-section is 0.52 mm², and its approximate outer diameter is 2 mm.
