Single-core PVC wire, very flexible LiFY 0.14 mm² beige 15212
Universal cable for specialized applications
This single-core PVC cable is a solution for demanding applications where flexibility and reliability are paramount. The cable is designed for connections in control cabinets, measuring systems, and anywhere else where standard cables fail due to frequent bending. Made of multi-strand copper, covered with flexible PVC insulation, it provides good conductivity and resistance to mechanical damage.
Construction and properties
The cable is characterized by a construction of 1 x 0.14 mm², which means a single core with a cross-section of 0.14 mm². The multi-strand copper (class 6) used ensures exceptional flexibility, making it easier to route cables in tight spaces and minimizing the risk of damage during installation. The polyvinyl chloride (PVC) insulation guarantees good protection against external factors. The cable is designed to operate at temperatures from -15°C to +80°C (flexibly), making it suitable for a wide range of applications. It should be noted that it is not suitable for high-current applications.
Applications and compliance with standards
The cable meets the requirements of DIN VDE 0250, DIN VDE 0285-525-1 and DIN VDE 50525-1 standards. It will be useful in:
- construction of control cabinets – thanks to its flexibility, it facilitates connections inside the cabinets
- measuring systems in laboratories – ensures precise measurement without interference
- applications requiring frequent bending – ideal for where traditional cables quickly become damaged
- electronic devices – as an internal connection cable
- lighting installations – in places exposed to movement or vibration
The cable has an EAC certificate confirming its compliance with safety requirements. In addition, the materials used in production do not contain silicone, cadmium or substances that interfere with painting. Flame propagation tests were carried out in accordance with DIN VDE 0482-332-1-2 / DIN EN 60332-1-2 / IEC 60332-1-2.
