Flexible single-core PVC cable – ideal for demanding applications

This exceptionally flexible single-core cable with PVC insulation is designed for applications where resistance to bending and connection durability are important. It is suitable for both control cabinet construction and precise measurement systems in laboratories. The cable complies with DIN VDE 0250, DIN VDE 0285-525-1 and DIN VDE 50525-1 standards, which guarantees its high quality and safety of use.

Construction and properties

The cable features a stranded construction (class 6), which provides exceptional flexibility. It is made of un-tinned copper wire, and the polyvinyl chloride (PVC) insulation provides good mechanical and electrical protection. Two-color wire marking facilitates identification and improves safety during installation. The cable is designed to operate at temperatures from -15°C to +80°C (flexible) and -15°C to +80°C (stationary).

Application and parameters

The cable with a cross-section of 0.14 mm² and a rated voltage of 300/1000 V (U0/U) finds application in many fields. Its thin construction (outer diameter approx. 1.2 mm) allows for easy routing in tight spaces. The cable is particularly recommended where high flexibility and resistance to repeated bending are required – e.g. in moving parts of machines or devices. It should be remembered that it is not suitable for high-current applications.
