Cable for inverters – reliability and EMC compatibility

This halogen-free cable is specifically designed to power motors with frequency inverters, i.e. inverters. Its construction minimizes electromagnetic interference (EMC), which is crucial in systems, buildings and facilities sensitive to this type of interference. The use of XLPE insulation increases the current-carrying capacity and operating temperature of the conductor to +90°C, which translates to longer life and reliability in demanding applications. This cable works both in fixed installations and with occasional movement, in dry, damp or wet rooms, as well as outdoors and directly in the ground – provided it is properly installed with cable bedding.

Construction and application – for the installer and user

The cable is characterized by a solid construction: multi-wire copper conductors class 5, XLPE insulation in brown, black, gray and yellow-green colors for easy identification. Two screens – AL-PET foil and copper braid – provide effective protection against electromagnetic interference. The whole is surrounded by a halogen-free outer coating in black color. Thanks to its UV resistance, the cable is suitable for outdoor applications. It finds application in the automotive, food, environmental technology, packaging and machine tool industries.
