Cable for inverters – reliability and EMC compatibility

This halogen-free cable is specifically designed to power motors with frequency inverters, i.e. inverters. Its construction minimizes electromagnetic interference (EMC), which is crucial in systems, buildings and facilities sensitive to this type of interference. The use of XLPE insulation increases the current carrying capacity and allows operation at temperatures up to +90°C, which translates to greater efficiency and durability. This cable will work in both fixed and occasionally movable installations, in dry, damp or wet rooms, as well as outdoors and directly in the ground – provided it is properly installed with cable bedding.

Construction and practical application

The cable is characterized by a solid construction: multi-wire copper conductors class 5, XLPE insulation in brown, black, gray and yellow-green colors for easy identification. Two screens – AL-PET foil and copper braid – provide effective protection against electromagnetic interference. The whole is surrounded by a halogen-free black coating, which increases safety in the event of a fire. The cable is UV resistant, allowing it to be used in outdoor installations. It finds application in the automotive, food, environmental technology, packaging and machine tool industries.

Remember to maintain the minimum bending radii during installation: for cables with a diameter of up to 12 mm – 10x outer diameter; above 12 mm – 15x or 20x outer diameter (depending on the type of installation).
