Flexible halogen-free control cable JZ-500 HMH

The JZ-500 HMH cable is a flexible, multi-core control cable designed with safety and reliability in mind for a variety of applications. Made from high-quality materials, including a halogen-free insulation and outer jacket, it minimizes the risk of toxic gas formation in the event of a fire. This cable is used in industrial installations, machines, conveyors, and buildings – anywhere flexibility, mechanical damage resistance, and high fire protection are required.

Construction and properties

The JZ-500 HMH cable features a carefully designed construction ensuring long-lasting and trouble-free operation. Copper conductors, twisted into a class 5 strand (flexible multi-wire), are insulated with halogen-free TI6 mixture. Black conductors are permanently marked with white numbers for easy identification. The protective conductor (in 3- and 4-core versions) is yellow-green. The whole is surrounded by a halogen-free outer jacket made of TM7 mixture in gray (RAL 7001). This construction provides resistance to abrasion, moisture, and the action of oils and greases.

Additionally, it meets the requirements regarding low corrosive substance content and low smoke emission during combustion (DIN VDE 0482 part 1034-1+2/DIN EN 61034-1+2).
