This flexible control cable 500V JZ-500 HMH 5G1,5 is a reliable solution for power transmission in demanding conditions. Made of high-quality materials, it ensures safety and long-lasting performance. The cable is characterized by a halogen-free coating, which minimizes the emission of toxic gases in the event of a fire – important in public and industrial areas.

Construction and properties

The cable is constructed with five copper conductors with a cross-section of 1.5 mm², which are twisted according to VDE 0295 class 5, BS 6360 class 5 and IEC 60228 class 5 standards. The conductors are insulated with a halogen-free TI6 mixture, and their black color with white digit printing facilitates identification. The protective conductor (if present) is yellow-green and placed in the outer layer. The whole is surrounded by a halogen-free TM7 coating in gray (RAL 7001). This makes the cable resistant to radiation up to 100 x 10⁶ cJ/kg (100 Mrad) and can be used in various environments.

This cable has been thoroughly tested for fire resistance and toxic gas emissions, meeting DIN VDE, BS and IEC standards. Tests confirm its self-extinguishing properties, flame retardancy and the absence of corrosive fire gases. In addition, the materials used in production are silicone-free, cadmium-free and do not interfere with painting.

Applications and operating parameters

The JZ-500 HMH 5G1,5 cable is ideal for use as a measuring, control and steering cable in mechanical engineering, conveyors, technological lines and in the construction of installations – especially in the metallurgical and steel industries. It can be used for both fixed and occasionally movable installations (taking into account the average mechanical load). The cable is designed to operate in dry, wet and humid rooms, also surface-mounted.
