Flexible halogen-free control cable – safety and reliability

This flexible OZ-500 HMH 2x0.5 cable is a solution designed for applications requiring high fire resistance and minimal emission of harmful substances. This cable, made of stranded copper conductors, provides reliable connections in various electrical installations. It is ideal for both professional installers and end-users looking for a safe and durable solution.

Construction and properties

The cable is characterized by a careful construction that guarantees its long-term operation in difficult conditions. Copper conductors, twisted according to VDE 0295 class 5, BS 6360 class 5 and IEC 60228 class 5 standards, are insulated with halogen-free TI6 mixture (DIN VDE 0207-363-7 / DIN EN 50363-7). The conductors are black with white number printing for easy identification. The outer jacket is made of halogen-free TM7 mixture (DIN VDE 0207-363-8 / DIN EN 50363-8) in gray color (RAL 7001). Thanks to the use of halogen-free materials, the cable minimizes the risk of toxic gas formation in the event of a fire – which is particularly important in public and industrial buildings.

Applications and compliance with standards

The OZ-500 HMH cable is perfect as a measuring, control and steering cable in mechanical industry, conveyors, technological lines and in the construction of electrical installations. It can be used in metallurgy and steelworks, as well as in dry, wet and humid rooms – both permanently and occasionally for mobile installations. It meets the requirements of the Low Voltage Directive 2014/35/EU (CE marking). The cable is not intended for applications with frequent movements or mechanical stresses.
