Halogen-free control and power cable – safety and reliability in one

This 7-core HELUCONTROL® JZ-620-HMH cable is an advanced solution for installations requiring a high level of fire safety. The cable is designed for buildings of Hazard to Life (ZL) character – office buildings, hospitals, schools, airports and other facilities where protecting life is a priority. Thanks to the use of halogen-free materials, the cable limits the emission of toxic gases and smoke during a fire, protecting both people and sensitive electronics.

Construction and application

The JZ-620-HMH cable is manufactured in accordance with IEC 60502. Its construction includes multi-wire copper conductors class 5 (flexible), halogen-free insulation and also halogen-free outer sheath in black color. The cores are twisted in layers, which ensures optimal pitch and minimizes interference. The cable is identified by numbered digits on the black cores, which facilitates installation and servicing. A version with a protective conductor (G) or without it (x) is available.

The intended use of the cable includes:

• Control and power installations in ZL buildings

• Power supply for machines and industrial equipment (conveyor belts, production lines)

• Air conditioning and ventilation installations

Additional information: the cable is characterized by a low weight – 227 kg/km and an approximate outer diameter of 11.3 mm. The minimum bending radius for movable installations is 169.5 mm and for fixed installations 56.5 mm. The rated voltage U is 1000 V and U0 – 600 V.
