This flexible single-core cable HELUTHERM® 145 is designed for applications where standard cabling fails. It is characterized by high temperature resistance and properties that reduce the risk of fire spreading and the release of toxic gases in the event of a fire. This is an ideal solution for both professional installers and end-users who value safety and reliability.

Construction and properties

The cable is made of tinned copper conductors, which ensures good conductivity and flexibility. The cross-linked polyolefin copolymer insulation guarantees resistance to abrasion, oils and UV radiation. The conductors are colored in accordance with applicable standards, which facilitates identification. Thanks to the use of electronic crosslinking technology, the insulation retains its properties even in contact with a high temperature soldering iron (up to 380°C). High temperature resistance allows, under certain conditions, to reduce the cable cross-section without losing its functionality.

Applications and benefits

The HELUTHERM® 145 cable is widely used in the cabling of lighting fixtures, heating devices, electric machines (thermal class B), distribution boards and in the construction of concealed, surface and in-wall installations. It can be used in conduit pipes at voltages up to 1000 V AC or 750 V DC. Additionally, it is approved for use in rail vehicles at DC voltages up to 900V.
