Single-core halogen-free cable for applications requiring high thermal resistance
This dark blue HELUTHERM® 145 single-core cable with a cross-section of 6 mm² combines flexibility, safety and reliability. Made of multi-strand, flexible class 5 wire, with insulation made of a different material (details in the technical documentation), it is designed for a wide range of applications where resistance to high temperatures and minimizing fire risk are key. This cable is characterized by a rated voltage U0/U of 300/500 V, and its approximate outer diameter is 5.2 mm.
Safety and operating characteristics
The HELUTHERM® 145 cable is primarily distinguished by its halogen-free construction. This means that in the event of a fire, it does not release toxic gases and fumes, which significantly increases evacuation safety. In addition, thanks to the electron-crosslinked insulating material, the cable is resistant to high temperatures – both during operation (up to +120°C when bent and +145°C when permanently installed), and when in contact with a heat source, e.g. a soldering iron (up to 380°C). This feature allows for reducing the cable cross-section under certain conditions, optimizing installation costs.

The cable meets VDE 0482-332-1-2, DIN EN 60332-1-2 and IEC 60332-1-2 standards regarding fire resistance. It is also compliant with EC Low-Voltage Directive 2006/95/EG and does not contain cadmium or silicone. It can be used in conduit pipes at a rated voltage of up to 1000 V AC or 750 V DC.
