This exceptionally durable single-core cable with a fiberglass braid is designed for operation in environments where standard cables fail. It is characterized by resistance to very high temperatures, making it an ideal solution in demanding industrial and specialized applications. Made with a nickel-plated core, it provides reliable conductivity and long-lasting operation.
HELUTHERM® 400 cable is synonymous with safety and performance in places where the temperature reaches extreme values. Its applications include advanced technologies such as aerospace, but also key sectors of industry – nuclear power plants, metallurgy, the chemical industry, and steelworks. Thanks to its excellent chemical properties and radiation resistance, it guarantees reliable operation even in the most aggressive conditions.
Construction and properties
The cable is distinguished by its careful construction. A stranded core made of nickel provides flexibility and resistance to bending. Special core insulation guarantees resistance to extreme temperatures – from -60°C to +400°C (short-term up to +450°C). A fiberglass braid further protects the cable from mechanical damage and external factors. The rated voltage U0/U is 500 V, and the core cross-section is 1.5 mm², allowing for safe use in various electrical installations. The approximate outer diameter of the cable is 3 mm.
