This 8-channel Hikvision DS-7608NI-I2/8P IP recorder is a solid solution for video surveillance, combining high performance, advanced features and ease of use. Designed for both professional installers and end-users, it provides reliable recording and storage of images from IP cameras. It supports Hikvision cameras and other manufacturers compliant with the Onvif protocol, providing great flexibility in hardware selection.

High image quality and performance

The recorder allows recording in resolutions up to 12 Mpx, guaranteeing detailed and clear images. An input bandwidth of 80 Mb/s enables the operation of multiple high-resolution cameras without performance degradation. HDMI (supporting 4K resolution) and VGA outputs allow connection to monitors and display high-quality images. Thanks to the support of H.265+/H.265/H.264+/H.264 compression, it is possible to effectively use disk space without losing recording quality. Two SATA slots allow you to install hard drives with a total capacity of up to 20 TB, ensuring long-term data storage.

Functions facilitating installation and use

The built-in 8-port PoE (Power over Ethernet) switch simplifies the installation of the surveillance system, eliminating the need for additional power supplies for IP cameras. It also provides stable power and data transmission over a single UTP cable. The recorder also has a Gigabit Ethernet port (10/100/1000 Mb/s), which guarantees fast access to recordings over the network. Additionally, it has alarm inputs and outputs (4 inputs / 1 output) and audio (1 RCA input / 1 output), allowing integration with other security systems. Support for the ONVIF protocol ensures compatibility with a wide range of IP cameras from different manufacturers. Access to the recorder is possible via a web browser, dedicated software (iVMS-4200) and the Hik-Connect mobile application, allowing remote live viewing, playback of recordings and configuration of the device from anywhere in the world.
