Functionality and Features

The DS-KV8113-WME1(C)/SURFACE door station is equipped with a 2 Mpx camera providing a clear image in 1080p resolution. A wide viewing angle allows for coverage of a large area in front of the door – the image is visible at an angle of 129° horizontally and 75° vertically. The built-in IR illuminator enables a clear image even at night, up to 3 meters. Additionally, the camera has image quality improvement functions, such as WDR (Wide Dynamic Range), which provide optimal contrast even in difficult lighting conditions.

A key element is the built-in RFID card reader (Mifare 13.56 MHz), which allows opening the door using cards or key fobs. The station also has one call button and two NO/NC relay outputs for controlling locks or gates. Four alarm inputs allow connecting additional sensors, such as an exit button or door opening sensor.

Communication is via a 10/100 Mbps Ethernet interface and wirelessly via an 802.11b/g/n Wi-Fi module. Remote station management is possible using the Hik-Connect mobile app or iVMS-4200 software. The station supports TCP/IP and RSTP protocols, enabling integration with other security and monitoring systems.

Installation and Power Supply

The door station is designed for surface mounting, making it easy to install on various types of walls and posts. Power can be supplied in two ways: using a 12V DC power supply or via PoE (Power over Ethernet) according to the 802.3af standard. Power consumption is a maximum of 10W. The aluminum housing provides high resistance to weather conditions (IP65) and vandalism (IK08).
