Thermostatic head with remote sensor, surface-mounted, adjustment 10-50°C T100R1004
Thermostatic head with remote sensor, adjustment range 10–50 °C
Ensures precise room temperature regulation without the need for external power – operates solely based on the expansion of the working fluid within the sensor. As temperature rises, the fluid expands and closes the radiator valve, restricting hot water flow; as it cools, the valve reopens. A simple, reliable mechanism that functions immediately upon installation.
The remote sensor (T100R1004) is attached to the radiator supply pipe using a 3-meter mounting strap. This allows it to respond to the water temperature in the pipeline rather than the ambient air temperature – an ideal solution where the head cannot be mounted directly on the radiator (e.g., due to furniture obstruction or limited space). The sensor does not require immersion in the medium; airtight attachment to the pipe is sufficient.
The head mounts onto radiator valves with M30×1.5 thread and a closing dimension of 11.5 mm – compatible with most standard Honeywell Home valves and other manufacturers meeting this standard. No need to drain the system when replacing the head; it can be unscrewed and swapped without interrupting system operation.
The maximum allowable fluid temperature is 120 °C, and the working pressure up to 10 bar – meeting the requirements of central heating systems in residential and commercial buildings. The differential pressure between inlet and outlet should not exceed 1.2 bar – the standard limit for this type of valve.
Response time is approximately 10 seconds – fast enough to effectively compensate for temperature changes without causing valve oscillation. The sensor is filled with liquid, ensuring stable operation even with minor temperature fluctuations.
Constructed from white plastic (handle), black plastic (socket), and nickel-plated brass (thread and cover). Contains no metal parts in the sensor area – minimizing corrosion risk and thermal influence on measurement accuracy.
Warranty: 5 years from the date of manufacture.
