Thermostatic Head with Remote Sensor – Operation Without Draining the System
The T100R1012 head mounts directly onto a thermostatic valve with an M30×1.5 connection and controls water flow in the heating circuit by responding to room temperature. Unlike conventional heads, it uses a contact remote sensor – it does not require immersion in water, and its flexible tape (3 m length) allows the sensor to be placed anywhere, e.g., on a wall or in an area free from radiant heat.
Temperature adjustment covers the range 30–70 °C, making it ideal for systems with high supply temperatures – for example, in houses with condensing boilers or underfloor heating installations. The sensor is not exposed to direct heat from the pipe, eliminating measurement errors caused by local overheating.
Construction and Installation – Simplicity and Durability
The head is made of white plastic (RAL9016) and a black plastic socket, while the valve connection is nickel-plated copper – resistant to corrosion and easy to disassemble. All internal mechanism components are designed so that the head can be replaced without draining the entire heating system – significantly reducing service time.
The remote sensor operates via thermal contact – there is no capillary tube or filling fluid. This means lower susceptibility to mechanical damage and no risk of leaks. The response time value is not specified for this model (T100R1012), but its operation is stable and requires no calibration.
Compatibility and Operating Conditions
The head is intended for hydraulic systems with a maximum water temperature of 120 °C and a working pressure of up to 10 bar. It does not require external power – it operates solely based on ambient temperature changes. Compliant with the M30×1.5 standard – fits most thermostatic valves available on the European market.
The manufacturer's warranty is 5 years from the date of production – confirming material durability and mechanism precision.
