The H07V-K installation cable with a cross-section of 1x2.5 mm² is a professional solution for a wide spectrum of electrical applications. The single-core construction with PVC insulation and Class 5 copper wire provides an optimal balance between flexibility and durability, making it an ideal choice for both installers working on fixed installations and applications requiring repeated bending.

Construction and technical parameters

The conductor consists of a Class 5 copper wire (flexible multi-wire) with a diameter of 1.98 mm, ensuring excellent flexibility while maintaining high electrical conductivity. The conductor resistance is 7.98 Ω/km at 20°C, guaranteeing minimal energy losses during operation.

The insulation, made of high-quality polyvinyl chloride (PVC) type TI1 according to EN 50363-3, is characterized by its white color and excellent dielectric properties. The approximate outer diameter of the cable is 3.6 mm, and its weight is 31.753 kg/km, which facilitates the transport and installation of even long sections.

The minimum allowable bending radius in fixed installations is 14.4 mm, allowing for precise cable routing in tight spaces without the risk of damaging the internal structure.

Operating parameters and safety

The cable operates in a wide temperature range - from -40°C to +50°C after installation (without vibration), with the possibility of laying at temperatures from -15°C to +50°C. The maximum allowable conductor temperature during operation is +70°C, and it can temporarily reach +160°C during a short circuit.

The rated voltage U is 750V, while the voltage U0 is 450V, enabling use in AC installations up to 1000V or DC installations up to 750V relative to earth. The test voltage is the standard for this product class: 2500V.

The cable exhibits flame retardancy according to the IEC 60332-1-2 standard and has a fire reaction class of Eca according to EN 13501-6. Additionally, it is characterized by low-temperature resistance in accordance with EN 60811-504+505+506.

Application and compatibility

H07V-K is particularly suitable for installation in surface-mounted or embedded conduit pipes. It is ideal for fixed, protected indoor and outdoor installations of lighting and control devices.

Due to its Class 5 stranded construction, it is especially recommended for applications requiring repeated bending and for mobile connections exposed to shocks and vibrations. The cable meets the requirements of the PN-EN 50525-2-31 standard and holds BBJ HAR, BASEC (U/R), and VDE certifications.
