Installation cable for demanding applications

The YDYP cable 3x6.0 750V is a reliable solution for electrical installations, both in residential and industrial buildings. Designed with safety and durability in mind, this cable provides efficient power transmission in various conditions. Its construction makes it ideal for running inside rooms, on plaster and under plaster.

Construction and characteristics

The YDYP cable is characterized by three cores with a cross-section of 6 mm², made of copper. The core insulation is made of polyvinyl chloride (PVC), which provides good resistance to mechanical damage and atmospheric factors. The cores are identified by colors, which facilitates correct connection during assembly. The outer PVC coating further protects the cable from environmental influences. Thanks to the flat geometry of the cable, installation is easier and more aesthetic – especially where space is limited. The core resistance is 3.08 Ohm/km.

Application and benefits

This installation cable is perfect for electrical installations with a rated voltage of up to 750V (450V between cores). It is intended for the transmission of electrical energy in dry and humid rooms. In addition, its resistance to low temperatures (according to EN 60811-504+505+506) allows it to be used in difficult operating conditions. Fire reaction class Eca provides additional safety. The cable has a certificate of conformity with HD 308 S2 confirming the correct identification of the cores. The permissible operating temperature of the core is a maximum of 70°C during normal operation and from -30°C to +50°C after installation (without vibration). The minimum bending radius during permanent installation is 25.74 mm.
