Installation cable for wide application

The YDYP 5x4.0 cable is a reliable solution for electrical installations in residential, commercial and industrial buildings. It is characterized by high flexibility and durability, which facilitates installation even in difficult conditions. Made of copper, with PVC insulation, it ensures safe and long-lasting transmission of electrical energy. This cable is particularly recommended for installations on and under plaster, both in dry and humid environments.

Construction and parameters for professionals

The YDYP cable has a flat construction, which makes it easier to route in tight spaces. It is made of five copper conductors with a cross-section of 4 mm², which allows for the transmission of higher currents. The rated voltage is 750V (450/750V), and the permissible operating temperature of the conductor is 70°C. The conductor resistance at 20°C is 4.61 Ohm/km. The minimum bending radius during fixed installation is 22.8 mm. The weight of the cable is approximately 317.93 kg/km, which is worth considering when planning large installations. The width of the cable is approximately 22.1 mm, and the height – 3.8 mm.

Safety and compliance with standards

The YDYP cable meets the requirements of EN 50575:2014 + A1:2016 standard and has a fire reaction class Eca, which guarantees its safety in case of fire. Fire resistance is confirmed in accordance with IEC 60332-1-2. Additionally, the cable has conductor identification with colors according to HD 308 S2, which facilitates correct connection of the wires during installation. The absence of halogen content (does not meet IEC 60754-1, -2 and -3 standards) and the lack of a protective barrier make it a standard solution for most installation applications.
