This 5-core power cable (N)HXH-J FE180/E90 with a cross-section of 4 mm² is designed for installations requiring continuous power supply in fire conditions. It meets the E90 standard, which means it will maintain its function for 90 minutes even under high temperature. This is crucial in facilities with increased fire protection requirements, such as hospitals, shopping centers, skyscrapers or tunnels. This cable is ideal for powering and controlling devices such as emergency lighting, fire protection systems or elevators.

Construction and properties

The cable is made of copper conductors of class 1 (solid core), insulated with a material meeting the requirements of halogen-free (according to IEC 60754-1 and IEC 60754-2). The outer sheath made of polyolefin provides resistance to mechanical damage and atmospheric factors. The lack of a screen and armor makes the cable flexible and easy to install. It is worth noting its resistance to UV radiation, which allows it to be used in outdoor installations as well (but not directly in the ground or water). Thanks to low smoke emission (according to IEC 61034-2) and the absence of halogen, the cable minimizes the risk of toxic gases forming during a fire.
