Construction and properties

The cable is characterized by a flexible stranded construction (class 5), which makes it easy to install and adapt to different installation configurations. Copper conductors guarantee good electrical conductivity, and PVC insulation provides protection against mechanical damage and environmental influences. The cable is available in white, which makes it easy to identify in the installation. Its round shape and outer diameter of approximately 7.2 mm provide convenience during work.

Application and benefits

The H03VV-F (OMY) cable is ideal for connecting light portable and mobile devices, such as household appliances, lamps, office equipment or audio-video equipment. It will work both in new installations and when replacing worn cables. Thanks to its resistance to low temperatures, it can be used in cold rooms. It should be remembered that it is not intended for heating appliances or outdoor applications. Its permissible operating temperature of the conductor is 70°C, and after installation – from -40°C to 50°C. The minimum bending radius is 43.2 mm for fixed installations, allowing for aesthetic cable routing even in tight spaces. The cable also has a flame retardant certificate according to IEC 60332-1-2.
