The H03VV-F cable, also known as OMY żo, is a versatile cable with PVC insulation and sheath, ideal for a wide range of indoor applications. It is characterized by its flexibility and ease of installation, making it a popular choice among professional installers and end-users alike. Construction and properties

This cable has three cores with a cross-section of 1 mm², made of flexible class 5 stranded copper. The core insulation is made of polyvinyl chloride (PVC), and the outer sheath is also made of PVC, providing good mechanical and electrical protection. The core color scheme (green-yellow, blue, brown) makes it easy to connect and identify correctly. The cable is designed to operate at a rated voltage of 300 V. Its construction provides resistance to low temperatures and allows operation in ambient temperatures from -40°C to +50°C after installation (without vibration). The maximum permissible core temperature during operation is 70°C.

This cable is perfect for home installations, offices, and powering light portable devices such as table lamps, office machines, or radios. Thanks to its flexibility, it is easy to route even in tight spaces. However, it should not be used with heating appliances or in outdoor conditions. Compliance with PN-HD 21.5, DIN VDE 0281-5, and BS 6500 standards guarantees safety and reliability. The minimum bending radius is 35.52 mm for fixed installations. The cable is characterized by a core resistance of 19.5 Ohm/km.
