The XzTKMXpw 10x4x0,5 telecommunication cable is designed for the construction of local telecommunication networks. The design is based on 40 copper cores arranged in 10 quads.
Cable construction and materials
The conductor utilizes single-wire copper cores with a cross-section of 0.5 mm², guaranteeing excellent electrical conductivity and stable transmission parameters. Each core is insulated with foamed polyethylene (PE), ensuring optimal dielectric properties and minimal signal attenuation.
Al-PET foil shielding effectively protects against electromagnetic interference, maintaining signal integrity even in environments with high EMI levels. The outer sheath made of UV-resistant polyethylene provides long-term protection against UV degradation and weathering.
Applications and operating conditions
The cable is intended for installation in cable ducts and directly in the ground in areas with a low risk of mechanical damage. The construction also allows for surface mounting thanks to the UV resistance of the sheath.
The operating temperature range from -30°C to +70°C (some sources state -40°C) allows for operation in diverse climatic conditions. An outer diameter of approximately 23 mm facilitates routing through standard installation components while maintaining appropriate flexibility.

The cable weight is approximately 165 kg/km, indicating a robust construction while maintaining a reasonable unit mass. Core identification is performed using color coding with color repetition, significantly simplifying identification during installation and maintenance.
The product meets the requirements of the EN 60332-1-2 standard regarding flame retardancy and bears the CE marking, confirming compliance with European safety standards.
