The XzTKMXpw 15x4x0,5 cable is an advanced telecommunications solution designed for both indoor and outdoor installations. Thanks to its robust construction and well-thought-out technical parameters, it excels in professional telephone networks and telecommunications infrastructure.

Cable construction and materials

The construction is based on 60 cores arranged in 15 quad bundles, ensuring high connection density while maintaining compact dimensions. Each core with a cross-section of 0,5 mm² is made as a solid conductor (class 1), which guarantees stable electrical and mechanical parameters.

The core insulation is made of foamed polyethylene (PE), which provides excellent dielectric properties while maintaining flexibility. The outer sheath is also made of polyethylene (PE), ensuring resistance to weather conditions and mechanical damage.

The common screen made of aluminum foil effectively protects the signal from electromagnetic interference, which is crucial for transmission quality over long cable sections.

Operating parameters and safety

The cable maintains full functionality across a wide temperature range from -40°C to +70°C, allowing for use in both indoor and outdoor installations without additional thermal protection. An outer diameter of approximately 16,5 mm with a weight of 229 kg/km ensures an optimal ratio of protection to flexibility.

The product meets the requirements of the EN 60332-1-2 standard regarding flame retardancy, making it a safe choice for building installations. At the same time, it has a fire reaction class of Fca according to EN 13501-6.

Due to the possibility of underground installation and use as an outdoor cable, the product finds wide application in telecommunications infrastructure. It is ideal for:
