Energy cable YAKXS 1x240 RMC 1kV is a reliable solution for transmitting electrical energy in demanding conditions. This cable is characterized by cross-linked polyethylene (XLPE) insulation, which translates to better electrical parameters, lower weight, and dimensions compared to traditional cables with polyvinyl insulation. The outer sheath made of polyvinyl chloride (PVC) provides additional protection against mechanical damage and weathering. The use of stranded conductors, class 2, compacted (RMC), increases the cable's flexibility and simplifies installation.

The YAKXS 1x240 RMC 1kV cable has a single aluminum conductor with a cross-section of 240 mm², insulated with polyolefin. The lack of a screen and armor makes the cable lightweight and easy to process. The approximate outer diameter of the cable is 24.4 mm, and its weight is about 892 kg/km. The permissible operating temperature during installation is -5°C to +70°C, and after installation (without vibration) -30°C to +70°C. The maximum conductor temperature is 90°C, allowing for safe operation under high current loads. The minimum bending radius for fixed installations is 366 mm – it is worth considering this when designing the cable route.
This cable is designed for underground installations and is characterized by a conductor resistance of 0.125 Ohm/km at 20°C. Conductor identification is done by color according to HD 308 S2 standard. The reaction to fire class according to EN 13501-6 is Eca, which means limited flammability of the materials used in its production.
