Diamir manholes – solidity and durability in the sewage system

Kineta PP blind with a height of 500 mm and a diameter of 800 mm, in orange color, is an element of the Diamir manhole system. Made of polypropylene, it is a basic module for building gravity sewage systems for various purposes – sanitary, rainwater, combined, industrial and drainage.

A "blind" kineta, unlike those with hatches or inspection openings, does not have a built-in hatch and is used where a tight tank or sewage pumping station is needed.

Application and construction features

Diamir manholes are versatile and can be used in various conditions – both with pedestrian and vehicular traffic. The PP kineta is characterized by high resistance to chemical corrosion and abrasion, which guarantees long-term operation even in difficult environmental conditions. The use of polypropylene also ensures the lightness of the element, making transport and assembly easier. This makes the construction of the sewage network faster and less costly.

Operating parameters and safety

The kineta has been subjected to rigorous tests confirming its properties. These tests included assessing the durability of the material (no cracks or microcracks), structural integrity (no collapses or cracks), impact resistance and tightness of connections. The product meets the requirements for ring stiffness (SN2; SN4; SN8; SN10; SN12; SN12,5; SN16) according to ISO 13268 and resistance to vertical and horizontal loads. This gives installers confidence that the manhole will provide safe and reliable operation of the sewage system for years to come. Additionally, the kineta has a declared property of leak-tightness confirmed by air pressure leak tests in accordance with PN-EN 13598-2:2020-11.
