The K2-KAN pipe with a diameter of 800 mm and a length of 3000 mm is a two-layer solution designed for the construction of gravity drainage networks and rainwater drainage systems. Made of polypropylene (PP) with a ring stiffness class of SN16, it ensures reliable and long-lasting operation, even under heavy load. The pipe design allows its use in places exposed to vehicle traffic – up to a SLW 60 load.

K2-Kan pipes stand out from traditional solutions primarily due to their low weight. They are 2-3 times lighter than solid-walled plastic pipes, and even 15-20 times lighter than stoneware or concrete pipes, which significantly facilitates transport and assembly. This reduces costs associated with earthworks and installation.

Construction and application

The pipe has a spigot on one end and a gasket in the last groove of the other end, guaranteeing tight and durable connections. The two-ribbed outer wall construction, reinforced with additional ribs, effectively absorbs point loads, minimizing the risk of internal deformation. The smooth inner surface of the pipe ensures optimal medium flow, and the corrugated outer surface – high ring stiffness with minimal material consumption.

The K2-Kan system complies with the PN-EN 13476-3 standard for structural pipes type B. The possibility of long-term operation under a pressure of up to 2.5 bar confirms the versatility of application – not only in non-pressure systems, but also in situations where occasional pressure occurs. These pipes are ideal for sanitary, drainage, combined and industrial sewage systems.
