External drainage pipe K2-KAN – strength and lightness in one

External drainage pipe K2-KAN DN/ID 150x6000 SN8 is an element of a system designed for the construction of gravity, non-pressure sewage networks and rainwater drainage systems. Made of polypropylene (PP), it is characterized by high ring stiffness SN8, ensuring durability and resistance to loads. The two-layer, corrugated construction, without a socket and gasket, allows for quick and efficient assembly using double-socket connectors. The orange color makes it easier to identify the pipe during installation work and subsequent operation.

K2-Kan pipes are significantly lighter compared to traditional solutions – they are 2-3 times lighter than solid-walled plastic pipes and as much as 15-20 times lighter than stoneware or concrete pipes. This feature translates into easier transport, storage and installation, which is particularly important for installers. Thanks to its high ring stiffness, the K2-Kan system can be used under roads with a maximum dynamic load SLW 60, and the construction of the outer wall ensures stability in the event of local point loads.

Features and application

The pipe is intended for outdoor applications where resistance to weather conditions and mechanical loads is required. Thanks to its ability to withstand water pressure up to 2.5 bar for a long time, the K2-Kan system is reliable even in emergency situations. The plain-end pipe (without a socket) requires the use of double-socket connectors to connect to other system elements. It complies with PN-EN 13476-3 and has a technical opinion from GIG Katowice dated June 30, 2008, which confirms its high quality and safety of use.
