K2-Kan System – Reliability and Durability in External Drainage

Double socket bend PP K2-KAN DN/ID 200/90, corrugated, without gasket, is an element of the K2-Kan external drainage system, manufactured by Kaczmarek Malewo. This system is designed for the construction of gravity, non-pressure sewage networks and rainwater drainage systems. Made of polypropylene (PP), the bend provides a durable and tight connection of drainage elements.

Construction and properties

The K2-KAN bend is characterized by a corrugated structure, which increases its flexibility and resistance to external loads. The lack of a gasket requires precise installation, while ensuring long-term tightness of the connection. The K2-Kan system is distinguished by its high circumferential rigidity, which allows it to be used even under roads with high traffic volume (SLW 60). The construction of the outer wall of the pipes absorbs uneven point loads, ensuring the stability of the installation. Thanks to this, the system is resistant to mechanical damage and long-term water pressure (up to 2.5 bar).

Application and compliance with standards

The K2-KAN double socket bend DN/ID 200/90 is used in the construction of sewage networks with a nominal diameter of 200 mm. It is a universal element that can be used both in new installations and in the modernization of existing ones. The system meets the requirements of the PN-EN 13476-3 standard and has a positive technical opinion from GIG Katowice dated June 30, 2008, and ITB-KOT-2017/0120 issue 2. The use of high-quality materials and adherence to production standards guarantee the reliability and long service life of the K2-Kan system. The bend is available in orange for easy identification in the ground.
