Double socket bend PP K2-KAN DN/ID 600/30 is an element of the external drainage system, designed for the construction of gravity, non-pressure networks and rainwater drainage systems. Made of polypropylene, it is characterized by high resistance to mechanical and chemical damage, which guarantees long-lasting and trouble-free operation. The corrugated design of the bend provides flexibility and facilitates installation in difficult terrain conditions. The lack of a gasket requires precise connection of the elements, ensuring a tight connection.

Application and properties of the K2-Kan system

The K2-Kan system, to which this bend belongs, is distinguished by its high circumferential rigidity, allowing it to be used under roads with high dynamic loads (SLW 60). The construction of the outer wall of K2-Kan pipes and fittings ensures stability when local point loads occur, and its deformations compensate for uneven loads. This system can operate under long-term water pressure up to 2.5 bar without losing its properties. The bend is orange in color, which facilitates its identification in the sewer network.

Installation and compliance with standards

The K2-KAN DN/ID 600/30 double socket bend is manufactured by Kaczmarek Malewo Spółka Jawna, in accordance with the National Technical Assessment ITB-KOT-2117/0120. It meets the requirements of PN-EN 13476-3+A1:2009 and PN-EN 1852-1:2010. K2-Kan pipes and fittings are manufactured by extrusion (pipes) and injection molding (fittings), which ensures high dimensional accuracy and repeatability of parameters. Installation of the bend requires the use of appropriate tools and adherence to the manufacturer's recommendations to ensure tightness and durability of the connection.
