Ball valve for KAN-therm Steel and Inox systems
Ball valve with a half-union and flat seal, made of stainless steel, designed for installation in central heating, cooling and compressed air systems KAN-therm Steel and Inox. This model, with a nominal diameter of 42 mm (DN40) and a G1 3/4 inch connection, provides a reliable and tight connection in the installation. Made of high-quality stainless steel 316 (1.4401) guarantees corrosion resistance and long-term operation, even in harsh conditions.
Design and application
This valve is an integral part of the KAN-therm system, utilizing press-fitting connection technology. It is designed to work with media such as potable water (in the Inox version), heating, cooling and compressed air. Thanks to the use of an EPDM seal, it ensures tightness and minimizes pressure losses in the installation. It has a controlled leakage LBP function, which increases safety. Available in both press x press and press x half-union versions – providing flexibility during installation.
Advantages for the installer and user
- Versatility: Can be used in KAN-therm Steel and Inox systems.
- Corrosion resistance: Made of stainless steel 316 (1.4401) ensures long-term operation even in an aggressive environment.
- Easy installation: Designed for press-fitting connections, which significantly speeds up the installation process.
- Installation identification: The valve lever is equipped with the possibility of mounting colored inserts (red or blue), which facilitates the identification of individual circuits in the installation – particularly useful in complex systems.
- Safety: Controlled leakage LBP function minimizes the risk of failure and ensures safe operation.
- Wide range of temperatures and pressures: Operation in the temperature range from -35°C to +135°C (short-term 150°C) and working pressure up to 16 bar makes the valve suitable for various heating and cooling applications.
- Minimal pressure loss: The valve design has been optimized to minimize flow resistance, which translates into energy efficiency of the system.
