The GZ Steel connector is a reliable element of the KAN-therm Steel system, designed for connecting steel pipes in central heating, chilled water, process heat and solar installations. Made of carbon steel, with anti-corrosion protection in the form of galvanizing and chrome plating, it provides long-term protection against corrosion and mechanical damage. Its construction based on a tapered BSPT-R (ISO 7-1 / EN 10226-1) external gas thread and a compression fitting guarantees tightness and a secure connection.

The connector with a nominal diameter of 3/4 inch (20) is compatible with a wide range of KAN-therm Steel pipe diameters – from 12 to 108 mm. This makes it a universal solution for various installation projects. The simple construction facilitates assembly, and the pressing technology eliminates the need for welding or threading, which translates into time and cost savings.

Functionality and safety in one

A key feature of the GZ Steel connector is the LBP (Leak Before Press) controlled leakage function. This means that in the event of incomplete pressing of the connection, a small leak will occur, which immediately signals an error to the installer. This is an important convenience that increases the safety and reliability of the entire installation. In addition, the KAN-therm Steel system is characterized by high resistance to pressure (up to 25 bar) and temperature (up to 200°C), which allows it to be used in demanding working conditions.
