Inox Reducing Tee – Reliable Connection in Installations

This Inox reducing tee is a key element of the KAN-therm system, designed to connect pipes of different diameters in installations made of stainless steel. Made of high-quality austenitic stainless steel 1.4404, it ensures long-lasting and trouble-free operation even in demanding conditions. Its construction allows for quick and secure installation by pressing, eliminating the need for welding or threading.

Construction and Application

The Inox reducing tee connects pipes with outer diameters of 28 mm, 18 mm and again 28 mm (corresponding to DN 25, DN 15 and DN 25). This makes it ideal for situations where a change in pipe diameter is required within the installation. The EPDM O-ring seal guarantees a leak-proof connection, and the LBP (Leak Before Press) function further increases safety – it allows detection of an improperly pressed connection before commissioning the installation.
