This is a 45° compression elbow made of carbon steel, designed to create durable and safe connections in heating, water and technological installations. The fitting is part of the KAN-therm Steel system, characterized by high-quality materials and precision manufacturing. It is ideal for both new installations and modernization of existing ones.

The elbow is designed for pressing, which ensures quick and secure installation without the need for welding or screwing elements. Made of high-quality carbon steel RSt 34-2 (1.0034 according to DIN EN 10305-3) and protected with a zinc coating, it guarantees corrosion resistance and long-term operation. The nominal connection diameter is DN 80, and the outer pipe diameter is 88.9 mm. The fitting length is 239.55 mm, and the bend radius is 107 mm.

Functionality and safety in one

A key feature of this elbow is the LBP (Leak Before Press) controlled leakage function. This means that an uncompressed connection is leak-proof, which makes it easier to identify errors during installation and avoid potential problems in the future. Additionally, the O-ring seals used ensure the tightness and reliability of connections even at high pressures and temperatures – up to 135°C (continuous medium temperature) and a minimum of -35°C. This ensures that the installation is safe and efficient for a long time.
