This is a 45° elbow made of steel, designed for KAN-therm Steel systems. It allows changing the direction of the installation at a 45-degree angle, ensuring a durable and secure connection of pipes with a diameter of 88.9 mm (DN 80). It is a key element in the construction of heating, water and technological installations, where high resistance to pressure and temperature is required.

Construction and application

The elbow is made of galvanized steel (Fe/Zn88) with a zinc layer thickness of 8-15 µm, which provides protection against corrosion. Designed for press-fit connections with crimp sleeves, it guarantees quick and reliable installation. The working connection length is 53 mm, and the total length of the elbow is 236.72 mm. The bend radius is 107 mm. Particularly important is the LBP (Leak Before Press) controlled leakage function, which allows detecting an incorrectly made press connection even before the installation is put into use – this is an additional protection against potential failures.
